So here I sit, fretting about Wayne. He woke up at 3 am a couple of nights ago, unable to move easily. He thinks that he has blown a disk in his back. This particular disk is opposite to the one that was worked on during his back surgery about 10 years ago. Wayne is in a lot of pain with spasms so strong that his legs buckle.
Yesterday I took him to the Emergency Department at the Huntsville Hospital. They think that the disk is bulging and prescribed painkillers, muscle relaxants and rest. Hopefully this does the trick. Wayne is not so sure.
Other news - Returning from Huntsville, we saw a moose standing in a marsh at the side of the highway. Such a cool site to see.
I've set up two bird feeders and a hummingbird feeder. Within 20 minutes they were being used. Yellow finches and the most beautiful brightly coloured ruby throated hummer that I have seen in a long while. It is so peaceful in the park. There is only 1 other couple in the park this week. I went for a walk yesterday. So weird with no-one else around.
Today, I think I will clean out my flower containers and tidy the lot a bit. Do some more set up and puttering.
Hopefully Wayne will feel better soon.
