Where Have We Been and What's Been Happening?

Doe Lake living isn't as calm and peaceful as it normally is.  We have been busy running back and forth to Huntsville and Guelph.  Wayne is undergoing physiotherapy treatments a couple times a week.  I am working out twice a week at aquafit classes.  Love the facilities and the class.

I also had to go to Guelph for a colonoscopy.  Just routine.  But while I was sleeping off the meds, Wayne had to take my mom to the hospital.  She spent over two weeks as a patient and is a very sick woman.  So I made another trip south to help out.  More trips to come.

We have had some fun social times too.  Linda and Tony came by for a visit on route from Sudbury to Barrie.  So great to see you.
Linda and Tony (Wayne's sister and brother in law)
Matthew and Jovana headed north to visit Ian and Amy.  We met up in North Bay for breakfast and a wander along the waterfront.  Too bad the little train wasn't open.  I love the train.
All four of the kids and Betty Spaghetti spent a night at the trailer.  Ian, Amy and Betty camped in a tent.  The city slickers bunked in with us.  It was a great visit but too short.  I forgot to take pictures.

We celebrated Father's Day at Ian and Amy's  with Bob and Donna.  Great company and great food.  Thanks guys.  Love your beautiful new home.

Hanging out - Wayne and Amy

We've had our boat in the water for about a month, but we haven't been able to use it.  Today was finally the day.  We were on the water at about 9 am.  It was so calm, peaceful and beautiful.  We toured all three lakes - Little Doe, Middle Doe and Big Doe.  Next time we'll check out the river.
