We have wandered full circle. Back to Doe Lake Rizzort. It is great to be settled again. Also feels a bit strange. It was so easy to live without black flies and mosquitoes. Hopefully black fly season will not last too long. Mosquitoes are another story.
We left Waterloo on Thursday to evade the holiday weekend traffic. Glad we did as the road was not too busy. With Anthony's assistance, Wayne had the RV backed into our site in short order. On Friday we did laundry and put up our bug screened gazebo. A necessity in this part of the woods. Saturday, we raked 7 large bags of leaves from our site. Today I set up the inside with all our knick knacks, etc. Let the summer begin!

Trilliums are in full bloom. The forest is covered with blooms. |

Our site behind the trailer. Fire pit and garden. No flowers yet. |

This week we will continue to work on our lot. Fine tuning the leaf raking, gardening etc. We also need to set up dentist checkups, renew our library card and hopefully arrange for satellite TV. We also need to go to our storage unit to swap summer and winter gear. Busy, busy, busy. Life is good!
