More Family, Friends and Food

My Mom and Dad celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this week. Wayne and I made supper for them and Aunt Shirley, Uncle Ron and Marion, a friend from this park. We had a great time. The weather even cooperated.

Speaking of the weather, it has rained continously since Thursday evening. Forecasted to rain all this week until Saturday. By then we will have moved to Doe Lake.

Relaxing before dinner.  Enjoying the sunshine.

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

On Saturday, Matthew hopped on a bus to spend the day with us.We picked him up in Kitchener.  Check out the inflatable bus station.  I've never seen anything like this before.  By the way, no bathroom  included.   Just a  big bus shaped tent.
Inflatable bus station.  Note - no more sunshine.
We went to St Jacobs to check out the market and outlet stores.  Despite the rain, it was very busy.  Matt bought new shoes.  I bought some steak, bread and flowers.  Wayne bought new socks and a ratchet strap thing.  All that shopping built up an appetite.  We headed to Elmira and yet another country restaurant, "Crossroads".  This restaurant includes a gift and quilt shop.  Very nice  even though the quilt shop was closed because the owner was getting married.

This is for you, Herb.  A visual  sampling of a few of the buffet offerings.  All were tasty.

Sunday afternoon we had a visit from cousins - Terri and David.  They had never seen our home on wheels.  Such a nice way to pass a rainy day.  Good company and lots of laughs.

Kathy is back from China. She had an amazing trip. So much to see - so little time. She brought back many beautiful souvenirs. Rest up Kate and lose that cough.
