Winding Down
Before we delivered our boat to Katrine Marine for winter storage, we were able to cruise the Magnetewan River enjoying the changing colours of fall. What a glorious showing. It was an ideal morning. Bright blue skies and brilliant foliage. We haven't experienced such a beautiful change of seasons for several years.
The rest of the week, we have been busy getting ready to leave. It's a bittersweet time of year. It's sad to say au revoir to our Doe Lake neighbours but at the same time, exciting to be heading south to a new winter hot spot.
We are leaving here on Wednesday. Next stop Waterloo for one week and then south to Chimney RV Park in Mission, Texas. A very leisurely trip. We don't check in until the 1st of November.
I'll blog about our trip assuming the campgrounds have internet access. Stay tuned.
