We had a bit of a rough start this morning. It was pouring rain and cold. But we're tough, we can handle it. As Wayne hitched up the truck we got a red warning message. "Warning - Service trailer brake system!" Oh oh what's that about? Well after digging out the manual, it said if this warning continues after multiple ignition restarts, get truck and/or trailer serviced. Luckily for us, the message disappeared and all was OK. However, Wayne had me back up the truck and trailer and then apply the brakes. He stood outside to make sure the brakes were working. It's the first time I have moved the trailer even though it was just a few feet.
By 840 am we were on the road arriving in Angola, Indiana by 400 pm.
We stopped at the duty free shop in Sarnia and bought a bottle of gin. We can now indulge ourselves with refreshing G & Ts. Yum!
After getting set up, we headed into town looking for some supper. We dined at Ruby Tuesdays. A first for us. What a nice restaurant! Our food was delicious, service was great and decor comfy. Also the price was very reasonable. Hope we have this chain in Mission area.
We are staying at the Circle B Campground for 2 nights. So I probably won't blog tomorrow. I think I'm going to do a bit of laundry while Wayne repairs the awning over the dining and living area.
We're on our way |
