Catching Up

We had a busy couple of weeks in Waterloo.  Lots of family dinners and get togethers.  We celebrated Kathy, Andrea and Matthew's birthdays, Mother's Day and Mom and Dad's anniversary.

We made dinner for friends at Kathy's and had a sleepover afterwards.  The next day was a field trip to a wool outlet in Listowel followed by dinner at Anna Mae's.  It 's becoming a tradition to eat at Anna Mae's when in Waterloo.

Another evening, cousins David and Terri came for dinner.

Dad gave Wayne a new creature.  Think we are calling it Lizzy.

Not every day was full of fun and games.  We had appointments with the doctor, eye checkups, etc.

On the 15th of May, we headed north on the last leg of our journey.  What could possibly happen?  How about yet another flat tire.  Three flats on this trip.  What's up with that?  All our tires have been replaced in the last year and a half.  Both of the tires that blew on the trailer were replaced last March in Arizona.  I think that they sat on the shelf just a tad too long.

Now settled in for the summer months at Doe Lake.  We had to rake lots of leaves.  That's done but we are still setting up our gardens and organizing the fifth wheel.

Beautiful trilliums nestled amongst the leaves

Monday we are heading into North Bay to finally visit Ian, Amy and their new home.

To close - here's a shot of our first campfire of the season.
