Christmas Eve began with a comedy/talent show outside under the stars. It was a lovely evening with a full moon, friends and lots of laughter. Eh?

John played the role of Dad in a skit about travelling in a motor home at Christmas time. Quite funny.

After opening our gifts we went to the clubhouse for dinner. I cooked the turkey for our table. Everyone brought side dishes. What a feast! There was so much food that many of us went back in the evening for a supper snack. So delicious!
Today, Boxing Day, Wayne and I went shopping for bargains. It's not such a big deal here in the states. Black Friday is the biggie. We found a few decorations for next year at good prices and a few items we can use now.
All in all a great celebration but really not too Christmassy without our northern family, friends and snow. Next year, you guys should come here - but leave the snow at home. Lots of Love.
