This is our newest garden. We tried for years to grow grass under the pine tree to no avail. Last year we started some Sweet Woodruff. It not only survived but thrived. I got the rock from Al our neighbour. He found it buried behind his trailer.
Today I added a Bleeding Heart, Astilbe and a few impatiens. I think this is my favourite part of the site now.

We have lots of hummingbirds. They have voracious appetites. This basket of flowers protects valves for our grey water (from showers and dishes) disposal. Statue was a gift and reminds me of two daycare kids - Jaylynn and Josh.
