Day Four - Thunder Bay to Vermilion Bay

This entry is late as I didn't have an internet connection.

On the way to supper in Thunder Bay, we had to brake to allow a beautiful doe and her fawn to cross the road. Why is is that I see more wildlife in civilization than in the wild? Could it be that civilization is not so civilized?

I was also disappointed that the Terry Fox Memorial is not visible from the highway. We were not able to pull into the rest area - so, no picture of the statue.

Our drive today was much easier than yesterday. The landscape is much calmer. The road is straighter and flatter. Way less stressful.

During our travels we passed the point where all the rivers and streams now flow into the Arctic Ocean. Pretty cool! We have also moved into the Central Time Zone gaining an hour.

I know we are much farther north because the black flies are out. Memories of Lowther.

Here's Wayne making smoothies for breakfast and Punk relaxing before another long drive. She doesn't look too impressed.
