Day Three - No travelling - Rapid River, Michigan

Today was supposed to be a rest day.  We've been having some electrical problems lately.  12 volt power levels keep fluctuating making the lights dim and then brighten.  The furnace has also been wonky.  We bought a new battery a few weeks ago but that didn't solve the problem.  So today we went to Hilltop RV Superstore.  The service department was very helpful.  They checked our battery ensuring that it was serviceable.  The battery was fine so we needed a new power converter.  Wayne swapped out power converters and everything is working great.

We found time to stop for lunch at Jack's in Rapid River.  Wayne brought home more left overs.

Ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, roll and coleslaw for $7.99
Prime rib sandwich and homemade chippers.  So Good!  $5.99
Whitefish Hill RV Office

This barn is made out of lengths of cedar logs and mortar.  It was built in 1932.  Very interesting.  The barn was originally built for dairy cows.  The office, laundry and store are all in this building.

This lighthouse is at the entrance to the park.  This is a pretty little park.  We have enjoyed our short time here.  Especially now that our electrical issues are solved.  Tomorrow we head for Wisconsin.
