Day 14 - A Three State Jaunt (Spokane Valley, Washington)

Today we began our trip in Montana, passed through Idaho and finished up in Washington.  And all in less than 200 miles.

We did a lot of up and down, round and round today. Elevation was around 4,100 feet. Not a bad day, not many places to stop though. Also we crossed into the Pacific Time zone. All in all we were finished travelling quite early.

After watching an episode of Matlock, Wayne and I decided to go the the mall. We went to JC Penney. New balance shoes were on sale for $49.50. I bought a pair and by applying for a JC Penney card 30% was deducted from the cost. In the end the shoes cost less than $39. In Canada they would be over $150. What a deal!

We had supper at Outback Steakhouse. Wayne had a rib eye and I had prime rib. Yummy! No room for dessert.

Our landing gear has cooperated for two days. Hooray! However, we still do not trust them and will replace the legs at the earliest opportunity.

To sum up: today was a great day.
